How big can I go with a 30-06 action?

I just picked up a donor 700 action how big can I go with a 30-06 action and what are the best choices I was thinking 6.5-284...any suggestions

good choice you can go all the way to 338 lapua with the action the bolt face is what will hold you back but you can get a new bolt body from midway or brownells. have the bolt face opened up or replace the bolt with a ptg bolt.

6.5x284 is a good chose I just chambered a couple last week for a customers and they are shooting good what are you going to hunt with it.
