Hornady SST for Elk?

Hey All,
I just found a node for my Win model 70 in 7WSM, using the 160gn Hornady SST. Anybody use this for elk and how does it perform? cheers

My 13 year old son took a cow last fall at 368 yards out of a 300 win mag with 165 gr sst. She went about 40 yards and dropped. She was broadside, complete pass through, made both lungs look like jelly. Small entrance hole, about 3 inch exit. I'd use this load out to about 650 depending on elevation
