I want to epoxy bed my seater stems to my bullets. My die set will arrive soon, I think it only has one or two stems and i want to load three or four different bullets. I need to order two or three more stems.
I don't care what bullet they are for because I'm going to drill out the tip area and bed to the ogive.
Do I need to get the same caliber stem?
I'm loading .338 but the least expensive stems are .358 and .308 (for FTX bullets). I'm hoping I can use the .358 stem in a .338 die but I don't have different caliber dies to tell if the stems are caliber specific.
If anyone has done this, please let me know if they interchange.
