Just saw Hornady is coming out with a new line of bullets with aluminum tips.

The two that stuck out the most the 153gr 6.5 and the massive 250gr 30cal!

The G7 BC are listed at 0.442, 0.412, and 0.355 for 250, 230 in 308 and 153 in 6.5.

They are packaged in the order in which they are made for added uniformity. They have a die insert to help seat them without damage to the bullet. These could be winners and I'd bet they'll perform on game.

I might need a 300 Lapua improved or 300 Norma AI.

What velocity do you think one might get with the 250 in a 300 PRC? They designed that bullet for saami spec 300 PRC with 8.5 twist.

I'd guess only 2700 and that might take a long barrel. Maybe 3000 fps in a 300 lapua AI

What? No 7mm???
LOL!! There's gonna be some gents losing their heads on that one!!

They probably have a plan to release them later.

Those poor 7mm guys have been taking a beating since the 6.5mm resurgence.
Matter of fact, allot of us "Old Cartridge folks" been taking a beating with all the new cartridge intros...
