Hornady 175 ELD-X 28 Nosler Issues

80 grains H1000

Grouping OK at 100. At 200 and 300 I'm lucky if 1 bullet hits paper.

Could the bullets be heating up and disentegrating? Seems like they should be stable ~3200 fps at 600' elevation.

Scope and rail are torqued down.

Any ideas or suggestions? I've got some 180 Bergers ordered I was hoping to make these Hornadys work with their higher BC.

Been a couple of threads about Hornady bullets disintegrating in flight. Try the search function and see if they don't pull up for you. I suspect that may be the issue.....
