Are you looking for esthetics or effectiveness? The only rifle (it came with it) I have that is turned down to match the muzzle diameter is with a Vais brake, and it sucks compared to my other muzzle brakes.Have any of you ever installed a brake that was turned down to the muzzle diameter? If so, what were the effects? I don't like the look of that flared barrel end, it reminds me of bell-bottomed pants.

LOL! Sadly, none at this time. Corrected it, was multi-tasking but without the "spirit" influence, maybe later. Thanks.Whiskey before noon? Not like you to make grammar mistakes.

I got the Area419 already so...Gen 1 Little Bastard*
The LB is the little brother to the FB. We needed a smaller platform for rifles that couldn't handle a large brake. The LB can be turned down .850 diameter to blend completely as if it were an integral part of the barrel a non-magnum cartridge. Magnum cartridges should not be turned down.www.americanprecisionarms.com
Very effective brake.
