Got a buddy of mine that's shooting an XP 6.5-284 handgun. He is gonna be using it for extreme range shooting, and after considerable research found a viable high-powered scope for it. He's using a 36X Leupold D Series that's been converted to long eye relief by Wally Siebert out of Issaquah, WA. There is about a 40% magnification loss in the conversion, but that still amounts to about 20X or so. He's also having Michael O'Donnell @ TK Lee install some dots for a ballistic reticle setup. If he's successful installing the dots (it's sort of a prototype system for the LER conversion), it will be the 1st scope of its kind ever. Will keep u all posted on the developments.
