Ya I traded for it and no that's a LA base I don't know why but all my leupold SA bases only have one hole in the rear. I never question it but thought it was weird. ..It's 111° outside so I won't be shooting it for a lil bit but will let you know how she shoots.

Keep me updated. Mine really loves the 115 Bergers pushed by 7828 SSC. But be careful with the Ackley, you can easily overpressurize it. Same goes for 7828 SSC. It can hibernate pressure signs until you overcharge a case. Then you can have some major problems. So, definitely start low with regular .25-06 loads, and work your way up.
Once you get her figured out, you'll fall in love with the caliber, just like I did.

No its a long action ..this guy I shoot with had it along with two other LA 40X'S in 7 mag and 7 STW. And six other 40X'S in short action.

Copy that!!...and have accurate load data and pet loads!...reloading practice for the ackley for fooks just getting into them !
