There seems to be people looking for scope recommendations but do not specify their parameters/personal preferences from the start. The following are some helpful considerations ...
- Budget (most important IMHO)
- It never hurt to add any personal research done (to prevent duplication of effort)
- Intended purpose and at what range
- SFP vs FFP
- Fixed vs Variable
- Magnification range
- Illum vs non-illum
- 1" vs 30MM or larger
- Weight restriction
- Length restriction
- Reticle
- Zero stop/non-zero stop
- Zero or canted mounting
- When in doubt go directly to the source
These are just starters but the more pertinent information provided at the start, the better the yield. If there is a change, make the revision to the original post, not elsewhere in the thread, most will NOT read all the posts but will make recommendations based on the original post.
Cheers!

- It doesn't hurt to perform a search either since this subject has been discussed in every way conceivable (courtesy of @Rick Richard ).
- Physically look through the scope (at the store or friend, etc.) if possible (courtesy of @JMW67).
