Help with scope base/rings for Steyr LA

I posted this on another group with a little help. I tried and it did not work out. I'm hoping some of you guys can help me.

I have a Steyr Prohunter in .300 WM. I ordered some DNZ medium rings and installed them with my scope (Nikon Monarch 5). The bolt handle hits the scopes eye piece. This is a common problem I am finding out.

What do you guys recommend I do? Order the tall rings or order a 20 MOA base? What I did not like with the medium rings is the scope was pretty high above the barrel. I always try and get it as close to the barrel without touching as possible.

I ended up ordering a EWG 20 MOA base. Ill let you know who it goes when i get the base in.
