Help with glass bedding please!

Would someone please write a simple, to the point, response about how to glass bed a bolt action rifle? There are so many articles out there and none of them do a very good job of saying where to start or finish on the action or what you need to plug with clay etc. etc. etc. I would really like to do this myself but I am not going to take the chance with all the conflicting thoughts. Are there any resources I missed? Help please!
