Help with a scope and bases

I just got my .300 Tomahawk and was looking for help with a scope, base, and rings for it. It's a Remington 700 Action with a 33" barrel. It will be used mostly for target shooting out to 1000 yards and beyond for now. I have a few ideas, however any help from the long range pros would be greatly appreciated.

NXS 5.5-22 or 8-32 NP-R2 reticle and Badger Ordinance or NF 20 moa one piece base. Not sure if you need rings but the Badger MAX 50 6 screw rings are sweet.
