I just got the new rifle from Kirby with this load that printed a 5 round 1/2 group at 756yds

260rem
140 gr Berger VLD
43.5 gr H-414
CCI-200
Rem cases
2.925" OAL

I dont have H-414 or CCI-200 primers but I do have 12 pounds of H4350 and CCI-BR2 primers. Is there a computer program out there that will tell me what this converts to with the powder and primers I allready have with out wasting a bunch of componets?

If your shooting 1/2 MOA at 725 I would sell a keg of the 4350 and get what Kirby worked up.

Or, you could work out a ladder test with the H4350 and the BR-2's. Each rifle is different with a given powder. A ladder test doesn't take long and it does work. Read the link below

Load Tuning

ICANHITHIMMAN,
I used 46.5gn of H4350 and a 9.5 primer when loading 120gn Nosler Ballistic Tips for my son's Mtn rifle and it chronographed at 2980fps. Accuracy ran under a 1/2". JohnnyK.

Nice problem. We should all have it so rough. :D

I load both CCI-200 and CCI BR2. Can't tell the difference (in my 270 WSM.)
I'm thinking that those two primers are pretty close in heat. And the BR2 might be a tad more consistent. But not much.
