My GF said that she would buy me a rifle for my B-day and I have 3 rifle options. I do not currently own any firearms chambered in 30-06. My options are
1 Savage 110 in 30-06
2 Remington 700 in 30-06
2 Weatherby van-something 7mm rem mag on clearance at my job for $350
NOW if I get the weatherby in 7mag I can easily convert my current Savage 110 in 7mag to a 30-06 with a barrel and bolt head switch. The cruddy part is there arent as many stock options for the weatherby as their are for the Savage and Remington. Any opinions?
