help finding a scope

i need help finging a scope for my .308. i am looking at the super sniper scopes , but not completly convinced thats what i want. If yall have any suggestions let me know. if yall have different opinions in brand of scope. i want to stay in the same price range.

It would help us more if you answer these questions below.

I'm assuming price to be as high as $550?
How far you want to shoot or potentially go to?
You want a turret scope or a reticle scope?

For cheapest scope and shoot up 500 yards, the Nikon Prostaff 3-9 BDC ($170) was good to me for target shooting. Plus their warranty is excellent or it has been to me. Don't know how this scope does out in the harsh conditions.

Take a look at the bushnell elite 4200 tactical models they are in that price range and are good quality scopes for the price.
