New to the forum and new to long range shooting. Can any pros on here give me pointers as to which cartridge you would recommend. I'm looking to shoot a non magnum cartridge. I want to effectively be great at shooting at ranges from 750-1000. I currently have a 270 and I love it. But open to the option of getting a new rifle if it will help increase my accuracy and knock down out to my above ranges. I'm looking into cartridges of 7mm-08, 308, 25-06, 280, 264 win and or just sticking to my 270. I've also thought about looking into some of the short action cartridges also. What are some pointers and tips you all can help me out with. Thanks
