Hello from Scotland

Just joined to get some knowledge from across the pond.

I shoot air rifle, .17M2, .17HMR, .22lr, .22WMR, .243 and .270
Plan on getting a .416 Rigby to round off the calibres.

shoot mostly vermin (varmints to you!) and deer

don't do too much long range stuff, occasionally 500 or 600 yds on Military ranges with the .243//.270

would love to have a crack at a 1000yds and am in the process of making a swinging steel target for the purpose next time I get somewhere with a 1000yds of clear air!

Scotland is beautiful. We enjoyed our travels throughout the UK when I was stationed at RAF Lakenheath from 2000-2003.
