I was a member a while back and rejoined . I live in north central Oregon. Love to hunt and fish. Enjoy long range shooting and my kids are getting to the age to hunt . They have been doing the mentored youth hunts. My son shot his first buck opening day. It was a 3 pt buck , 1 shot , 343 yds, he is 10. He shot it with my 300 ultra mag. I put a kdf muzzle break on it Harris bipods,and have a fennominal hand load worked up for it. It has recoil of a 243 the kids like shooting it but ear plugs are required. I have shot elk with it at 600yds.
