just thought I'd say hi. New to the hunting and shooting world. Trying to find ways to spend extra time with my kids in the great out doors and get them away from the TV and Xbox which they love to play.

I would like to ask a question about scopes. For just general target shooting is it OK to pick up a lower end or will they not hold up after you shoot them alot or need to be readjusted all the time. I pickep up a HMR. 17 and a 30-06 to start shooting with my kids and the salesman went right to the higher priced scopes. Not really sure if I need that yet
