Hello to all. I'm from Decatur, GA and I look forward to interacting with everyone and learning some new things about long range shooting. My background and interest in long range shooting started when I was in the US Army between 1986 and 1990.

I served with the 1/75 Ranger Battalion at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah where we fired a lot of machine guns(M-60 & FN Mags) using 7.62x51 NATO and the ubiquitous M-16. I never got much of a chance to fire the M-21 or XM-24 sniper rifles that were in my unit's inventory so now I'm trying to catch up. I currently shoot an AR-10 made by Rock River and Ruger #1s and M-77s in 308 Winchester, 45-70 and 30'06. I'm also a hunter and I go back and forth between Alabama and Georgia during deer hunting season.
