Hi,
Does anyone know what the heaviest, highest bc 30 cal bullet that will stabilize in a 11.25 is?
Altitude is 2500
DA is usually 2500-4500 in the summer.
Match bullet suggestions are fine.
I've alread tried the 208eldm, but it destabilizes after 400 yards.
Looking for other suggestions

Using Berger's stability calculator The 200.20 has sg of 1.32, on the ragged edge in thinking.
The 185 hybrid is at 1.46 sg
The 210vld has 1.53sg might be the best bet.
What cartridge are you using with the 210s?

I would shove a 178 eld m as fast as you can.
Tried those too, they were accurate around 2550 and I hit pressure before finding another node. I could sling the 208s accurately at 2500, so I'm thinking if I went with a 200gr that would stabilize would be my best bet, but the 11.25 twist might limit me to a 185

What I find interesting is using the same inputs on the stability calculator for the 200.20x and the 210long range bt I have a much higher sg with the 210.

If anyone has info on the performance on game on any of the above mentioned bullets feel free to.

What about the Berger 185 juggernaut?? It's transonic stable, I have shot it out to 1,500 yards to verify that. I shoot it at 2,665 from my 24" rig and 2,544 from my 18" rifle. I've taken seven hogs with my 18" rifle fwiw

Would you mind sharing your coal and what powder you're using? I'm gonna try that bullet and the 210long range bt I'm thinking

CBTO length is 2.155" OAL is ~2.806" they feed flawlessly from Magpul PMAG25 GEN M3 PMAG. I'm using IMR4166 powder with Federal GMM primers in fully prepared and annealed 178g WCC Nato spec brass.
