I'm looking for a little more protection when shooting scoped rifles. I typically wear good foam ear plugs when doing load work or shooting groups to get the best cheek weld. Over the ear muffs always seem to get in the way. Usually double up when shoot handguns or plinking.
What are you guys using (besides suppressors) for protection at a range session?

Check the nrr ratings for what works best-- usually a good foam plug protects better than most muffs-- if you want more than just wear muffs over plugs.. at the range I always wear electronic muffs over plugs, that way I can still hear conversations yet get muff over plug protection.

Some company makes a thinner 'cup' to cover the ears...cant recall whom.....but have see them...half the thickness and the bottom is thinner to get closer to the stock....
Getem soon....
