I have a Remington 700 long action, M5 inlet, in 7 SAUM, I've been looking at Hawkins Precision hunter DBM and H-S Precision DBM. Looking at the almost flush mag style setup. I was curious if anyone has experience with both styles? Or just opinions on either that would help in my decision. Thanks!

I don't have experience, but would ask, is the HS Precision for an M5 inlet? I looked at them and it never states M5, just that it was a drop in replacement for a Remington BDL. I would definitely call HS before ordering one, to see if it would work.

I was recently hearing some concerns expressed on the Hawkins Hunter DBM on this forum. I believe it was related scratching or galling brass. It concerned me at first as I was waiting on build with a HH DBM. Mine has worked flawlessly thus far and I'm very happy with it.
