Is anyone else missing the 'edit' tab at the bottom of their posts?

I found a broken link in one of my posts I would like to fix, but cannot find the edit button

I found a broken link in one of my posts I would like to fix, but cannot find the edit button

After a while, the option to edit is no longer available. I am not sure what the window of opportunity is.

There is a time limit of about 5-14 days and the edit button is removed.
