Hey Bean,
What is a realistic gain for a 25-06 AI over the 25-06 rem? I've had an itch to tech Amber my 25-06 rem but not sure if it's worth it. Sorry for the thread hijack.

Dang he's got a purdy rifle. I think I'm going to switch to hammers in my 257bobAI. Which one is the question haha
In my AI 25-06 i easily gained 100 fps.

That's good to hear. I reread my post and realized spellcheck got me lol. Looks like my 25-06 is named Amber lol.

That's ok. My Tikka CTR is named "Ugly Betty" it's my truck rifle in 7mm-08.
I named her before she arrived as I wanted a rifle to carry in the Ute on the bush. One I would not worry about scratching.
I do get precious about dropping the cases. 7mm-08 are at a premium here. People don't realise how good they are we all own .308
She's faithful and true. Along with that Black dog that rides with me.

Cant go wrong with a 25 I got 3 25-06 rems. i think 25-06 is the most over looked and under rated Gun there is (along with the 270wsm)
