I posted awhile ago about Steve and his customer service.

He sent me some 110 HH for my 6.5 that didn't like the 123's.

9 shots later guess who is a happy camper?

300 Wby 160 Grain Hammer Hunter
26" Krieger 1-10
Wby brass 1x Fired
Fed 215M
IMR 4350 79.8 Grains
OACL 3.660
Velocity 3365 FPS
ES 8
.528" over 5 shots @ 100 Yards 68 Degrees F, overcast, no wind

I ran my ladder up to 81 grains to 3422 and the brass still looked like the first of the ladder at 74.0. My goal was to get accuracy at around 3350 and this fills the bill and is still easy on my brass.

Hey Lance, question for you. Do you think I can effectively get by with a 300wm 9.4 twist with the 199 gr? I live at 3k' msl (load development) and hunt 4K' msl and above? I have H1000 but have been using H4831SC till now.

Second rifle, same question but for a 300 RUM with a 10 twist.

Thanks

I would not use the 199. I would use the 196 or 180 gr.
