Hammer Hunter 6.5 Creed load data?

I use Win 760/H-414 in my 260 Rem with 121gr Hammer Hunters for 3004 fps. 22" bbl. CCi #200 LR primers. Win 760 is a ball powder so I have lots of room left over. Just a thought...

Try h4350. My tikka t3x with 24" barrel gets 3003 fps with Lapua brass, federal 210m primers, 45 gr. H4350 and 124 hammer hunter. No signs of pressure and 0.3" group at 100 yards. H4350 is very temperature stable which is important here in Wisconsin

Varget worked best in my rifle with the 124 HH. Lapua small rifle primer brass with Fed 205M. .020 off the lands. 39.8 gr was at 2,995 fps. As always, work your way up.

I haven't checked speed but H4350 gives me excellent accuracy with 121 gr Hammers. 43.5 gr gets me 1 1/2" or better at 200 yards. 20" Weatherby Mark V. Ive loaded similar with IMR 4350 and accuracy is good as well.

41.5 gr of H4350 out of my 6.5x47 with the 124 HH gets me 2938 FPS. Just used the same load as 130 Accubond I shot previously. 25" benchmark barrel.

Have you tried RL26 in your Creed with lighter bullets like the 124HH or is it really better suited for the heavies.

Varget is excellent with the 124 Hammer. In fact, that's what Steve Davis recommend, but I couldn't get my hands on Varget at that point in time and RL16 was available (which I why I used it).

I'm trying to get some velocity out of my new 124gr HH from a 20" 6.5 Creedmoor. Since this bullet is about the same length as my 140gr Berger's I'm running into a case capacity issue. Running RL-16 and cant get anymore shoved into the case. Never used a bullet this light and wondering if anyone has some good powder recommendations for these 124gr HH that return some good velocities. Thanks for the help.

Happy shooting.

Bottom line is if you can't get enough powder in the case you need to review a powder burn rate chart and find something faster.

Varget/8208/4895 is the area you need to be looking in or longer drop tube.

Decided to load up some 124 gr HH for a Springfield Armory Waypoint that I just purchased. First time loading Hammer bullets. Started with 37 gr of Varget, Lapua brass and CCI #250 primers, was able to work up to 39.5 gr, but bolt lift got stiff and group size opened up a bit. Best accuracy was at 39 gr, with .3 size group, and 2,907 FPS. Going to do some minor tweaking, but overall I'm more than pleased! Darn hammer bullets are sure easy to load for…..

Looks like rl15 would be a bit faster than varget for speed of 125 class and slightly faster burn rate. Also he similar volume to varget so you should ha e plenty of room.

The recent batches or RL15 I've gotten are actually .4-.6 grains slower than Varget.
