H4831 powder

Will H4831 powder work with a Sierra 150 gr Game King bullet in a .270. I have a bunch, but don't see any load data specifically for it in the Sierra manual. I see posts around mentioning it as a good one. Thanks.

Hodgon lists 52 gr to start with 55.7 gr max for the 150 gr Hndy in the 2015 annual manual. The older no. 22 lists 54.5 to start and 58 gr. max for a 150 gr no manufacturer.

As always, start low and work up to max.

One manual says 54-58.5 gr another says 48.2-56.2 gr of H4831.

I worked up one with 56 gr H4831. Win cases and CCI 200.
The GK seems to be very easy to load. Very forgiving bullet. Seat close to the lands if you can.

I used 58gr as max in my Dad's 270 with 150gr Partitions, it should produce higher velocities with the GK considering it's shorter bearing surface.
