H1000 and the 7mm STW

I haven't shot my 7 STW's in many years and the last time I loaded any ammo was in 1996.
The brass was 1980's Remington 8mm Mag, necked to 7. Fed 215, Nosler 160gr Partition, 80.0gr H1000
Unfortunately, I don't have the velocity written down.
I imagine there are better powders now for the 7STW since the case fill percentage with H1000 is a bit low.

GRL, how did them SST's shoot? , every barrel is different,H1,000 can be very good but I've used it with 160's and up,RL-22 is very good with 150's ,haven't played with RL-25 in my STW's as yet . Tell us about your STW,bbl,action ,etc,etc, thks , how long you been reloading , cheers!.

I shot 154 grain SST over IMR8133 and max load I got 3244 FPS. I chose a 82 grain load that gave 3140 FPS, good SD and ES and grouped under a inch at 100 yards. I don't want to shoot max loads and blow out primer pockets.
