What’s the weight on your 28 as it sits? I have the same rifle with a steel barrel and Revic scope, love everything about it except the weight mine is roughly 11.5lbs. I’ve been considering either doing away with the Revic or selling the whole setup and starting over. Curious what the difference in weight is with the carbon barrel and NF?

You can configure a new Gunwerks with a mk5 Leupold and get the weight right around 8lbs.

Maybe if I had the carbon barrel, I think mine with the steel fluted barrel is around 8lbs without optic’s. No doubt the Revic is heavy, but I do like the scope.

The total package. Nightforce is the best I have used as far as turret feel and solid detents. I have never had one that didn't track right on and always return to zero. Nightforce NXS is the best value for everything I need. -- Broz
