I am looking for a trusted smith of forum members in Madison area. I dont mind traveling a bit, but just want to work with someone who has the intergrity members of this forum are known for. I have a rem 700 custom that needs anew bolt for starters. any direction is greatly appreciated

I would check out Jim See Center Shot Rifles (Pittsville, WI). He is an advertiser here. More central WI than South central but you won't go wrong with him. I am from Edgerton, so I know the area a little. He is the only one close that is a member here that I know of.
There are some others around I could tell you about, but no one tuned to the accurate rifle like Jim.
