For what you've got it listed at I've been tempted to buy a cheap r700 to drop in it. I'd only be about $150 more into that than just buying the stock new.

I'm just really not a fan of the Remington 700s.

Can't disagree with you there. I have been pretty happy with the Bergara B14 as an alternative though.

I am confirming with GRS if indeed this will fit a non-Bergara action, but am interested. The action will probably fit, but it's the bottom metal that concerns me. I don't feel like breaking out a router, haha.
