I have been looking for more :
Lightfield Commander IDS Plus 3-1/2″ 12 ga. 600gr
for the past two years. It was my preferred ammo for grizzly bears. I live on the side of a mountain in the Alaska Range. They visit me al the time. Can anyone help me locate these rounds or suggest an equivalent? Thanks.

the all wonderful google search shows me------

3" --https://www.tarhunt.com/product/lightfield-commander-ids-plus-3%E2%80%B3-12-ga/
the 3.5" seems to have been discontinued

they have a facebook page, you could contact them https://www.facebook.com/Slughunt/ but it appears they only make rubber shot/slug ammo now
Thank You. I spent a lot of money on a Beretta A400 shogun just to shoot those slugs. That was the best slug made for a charging Grizzly Bear. I'm sorry to hear they are not available anymore. I will look into options. Appreciate your time to reply.

Ok thanks
The best way to do it is open an account online with UPS. Then use ground shipping, put the size of you box (xsml, sml, med) LxWxH for total size. Also pay for it in your account and also print out the ship label and a Hazard "Diamond" label to put on the box for AMMO. You can get the Diamond of of the website. If you need any help please PM me.

I don't believe ammo can be shipped to Alaska by UPS, FedEx, USPS, or any other commercial carrier.

UPS may call it "ground", but it comes up by air, which is a no-no.

If someone confirms otherwise, that live ammunition can be shipped to Alaska, (other than by barge), please educate me on that allowable method of shipment..

Ammunition, powder, primers are all shipped up to Alaska on the ocean, by barge, to the Alaska distributors.

And barge isn't a cost effective method of shipment for sending a few of boxes of live ammo. Need to be shipping in mass quantity to make those barge shipments cost effective.
