Got lucky this morning

Shot this about 7:30 this morning. He never gave me a good shot so I new I wouldn't get a pass thru. It was a quartering away at a bad angle. Just before he went in the woods I pulled the trigger. After looking and finding no blood I called a friend of mine that has a Lab that tracks wounded deer. He brought Sky over and in no more than 5 minutes she found him. Nothing like a good dog. It wasn't a long shot only just over 200yds with my 6x47. Thanks Dan

Nice buck, i like how his right brow time bends out and the end of his left antler dips down.

What bullet? 130 grain VLD im guessing?
 
I have one of those dogs..... or at least I thought I did. mine is better at finding new garbage in the woods than anything else.:rolleyes:
