Am I the only idiot on here who noticed there's a dog wearing a hat in the profile pic before I noticed how nice that elk is?? .

Congrats on a successful hunt, happy eating . Cartridge, projectile, distance etc…we're the most superstitious analytical nostalgic gun nerds out there haha.

Camera is Canon R6 I used my Canon EF 100-400 lens. There was a 25-30 mph wind and I was able sneak in close. It was late evening and much darker then it looks.

Right on man, that's awesome. I jumped to conclusions, looked like elk down and everyone speaks in euphemisms about death so when you said "put to sleep" I was thinking about what vets do with old sick animals haha. Thanks for sharing.
