Good coyote loads for 308?

im possibly getting to go on a hunt pretty soon shots ranging from 100-1000 iv been told iv got my 22-250 but id like to take my 308 also so i dont wanna go with to light of bullet but not to heavy either thanks for the input

when I was out west (Alberta, 82 to 85) we had a good supply of military ammo, We pulled the bullets (147grn hard nose really pointy and a boat tail). We tossed the powder and brass (the brass had the 2 hole primer)
I cannot remember the load but we used IMR4064 with standard primers and used the listed oal gophers and yotes out to 600 was not uncommon.
I was using a winchester mod 70 with a 2x7 redfield

44gr of Varget behind a 168 VLD will usually knock them in the dirt...

But my go-to varmint gun is my custom 700 26" .25-06 AI slinging 115 VLD's over 3,400 fps.

I use Hornady match 168gr bthp over 44grs of Varget. Never had a yote take another step.
