I haven't changed the spring as of yet. I have the Diamond D holster on order for my Ruger Alaskan .454, which I also sometimes carry.

I prefer the leather holster !
Wears very nicely !

Recommend the 22 Pound NDZ spring and Rod
If you plan on using full 10 mm loads like Underwood the NDZ works great in mine simple to install comes ready just drop in. Saves the wear and tear on your nice G20.

I carry a Glock 20. It's pretty scary cutting up a deer or elk here. Look around a lot while doing. Nov. 6th taking care of a buck up North Fork and a cow elk yesterday 11/13 at Bobcat Hulihand where two guys attacked a couple weeks ago by griz .
Hunting alone here is bs. I carry Glock 20 10mm with Grizzley 220 hardcast and bear spray .

I vent chronographed any. I also have HSM 200 gr. hardcast. Probably have to order Underwood online. I've never seen any place I've been.

If you hunt here, carry a pistol . Preferably one with some punch. I carry Glock 20 , not my Springfield XDM 10mm though just because of the grip safety. Also Glock 20 is more accurate with same ammo. I thought about carrying my 460 S&W or 454 Cassul but too heavy and barrels too long. I'd definitely wrather have those 2 cartridges though. My other choice was a Super Blackhawk 44 mag. It's not heavy to me but it does have a 7.5 in. barrel. I'd need to get a shoulder holster for it. I use a Gunfighter for the Glock 20. I like it.
