Cutting Edge Bullets
The new LAZER™ is a tipped, sleek, smooth bodied copper version of our field-proven brass Raptor™ bullets, borrowing its smooth aerodynamics from our MTH line. Incorporating our patented SealTite Band™ (STB™) for a perfect seal in your barrel, the body is of a bore rider design. As such, with only the narrow STB™ ever contacting the bottom of the barrel grooves, friction is greatly reduced, with fouling virtually non-existent.
The aggressive three blade design of the tipped hollow cavity, operates on the hydraulic pressure caused when impacting flesh- as muscle contains 70 ~ 75% water. Testing in water or ballistic gel (not wood or dirt/sand/gravel) has resulted in expansion as pictured, down to below 1,700 fps. The three blades most often make it to the far side of the chest on a broadside shot, while the Blunt Trauma Base™ (BTB™) continues on for almost certain complete penetration, even on hard quartering shots.
INITIAL OFFERINGS: All of the LAZER™ bullets were shot simultaneously over two Oehler 35P chronographs at 5 and 205 yards. Environmental data including temp, humidity, barometric pressure, and elevation were collected using a Kestrel Pocket Weather Tracker with Horus ATRAG Ballistic Calculator. All data was then then entered into Ballistic Explorer™ to obtain these G1 BC results:

Each shot in your target results in five chances at causing trauma to the vitals- not just one. After 1 ~ 1.5" of penetration, the 4 blades are engineered to break off and radiate out in a star pattern, greatly increasing trauma and the chance vitals will be damaged. Meanwhile, the sharp edged, non-deforming Blunt Trauma Base™ continues on for almost certain complete penetration, exceeding even the performance of much heavier conventional handgun bullets.
Presently we offer- .357-140 grain, .41-180, .44-150 and 200 grains; .45-150 and 240 grains; .475-220 and 280 grains; and for the .500 S&W- a 340 grain HG Raptor™
