I'm hunting Gila 1st rifle. Not the handicapped, but 1st rifle immediately after handicapped week.
Do you need orange, orange vest & hat ? or is it all camo ?

I just got back from Canada, and the guides made me de-orange. 100% camo for Moose.

Pretty sure in New Mexico, you have to have an orange cap.

I have hunted many times in New Mexico with a guide and have never worn orange.

"In most areas, hunters are strongly encouraged to wear blaze orange, although not required. 244 square inches of blaze orange are required when hunting on military properties or Valles Caldera National Preserve."

That is correct....military bases or reservations require orange for firearm hunting....the state of New Mexico does not. Congratulations, great tag when you can get one.
