Getting son into hunting Deer.

The small to medium 6.5's are a good choice. My daughter is petite and I built her a 260 Rem. on a Mauser action with a compact Leupold scope. Cut down the stock and put a cheek piece on it and she shoots it lights out. I have .22lr bolt gun for her to practice with and then set up a 10/22 with a full on Magpul stock set to fit her. This gives her need for speed shooting satisfied and also give her practical practice for her bolt gun.

I just put together a 6mm ARC AR with a BSF carbon fiber Barrel light weight and for my daughter who is 11 5 foot feather weight and doesn't like any recoil on the rifles she shoots she smoked a 5point on opening day this year at about 100 yrds one shot nice buck good confidence booster for her first time out
