I decided to give this ELR a try with my Savage 300 win mag. I had to make my setup in the back of my pickup as the grass was too tall to shoot from the ground. I drove down the road and ranged our steel plate till my rangefinder (leica 1600) read 1050 yards consistantly. The wind was varing from 10-14mph. I dialed 26.8 MOA for elevation held 5 MOA for wind and sent three downrange when the wind was down. After the shots I packed up my gear and walked down to the steel. After measuring I had a group size of 3-1/2" horizontal and vertical of 7". My target was a 10" circle on a 4ft X 4ft steel plate. I didn't get a pic of the target but drew a pic of what the group looked like. End result, it was fun to get out a little past 1000 and get humbled by the ballistics and wind that go on.
