Just curious how far does it range? I know what its supposed to do but I haven't had a rangefinder yet that can do what it says on the box.

Personally, I have ranged targets and got calculations back at close to 1200 yards. It's max range for corrections and calculations is 1400. I can say that I can handhold this unit better than my br4 and get faster ranges. The br4 is just a bit light and shaky with the 10x. I also think the glass is better in the br2.
It's a great unit and I will keep it as a backup.

I have a kestrel 5700 elite, but I can see where this would be beneficial hunting. Just curious how far it ranges. My rangefinder quit on me. I not only hunt but also do long range shooting. So being able to range way out there for target shooting is really why I was concerned about being able to range way out there. I'm kind of torn about just buying a good set of range finding binos or another rangefinder. Thanks for the info. It's a great price

GLWS, I had one for years, mine would range between 1500 and 1600 yds and give a shooting solution to 1400yds, my friend had one that would do 1750-1800 yds, for the money it's a good deal, now have a Revic BR4.
