Sharpshooter Supply "Laminate Varmint Tactical," for a Savage Target action (4.4"). The stock has a clamp-style adjustable cheek piece installed, along with an Anschutz style accessory rail.
This stock is an indian blanket laminate, that has been painted with texture paint. The stock came the butt-hook, but it has since been filled in and smoothed out to ride a rear bag. The barrel channel measures approximately 1.360" the entire length. Stock has a thin recoil pad installed. The stock has been pillar bedded and has a ¼ -20 nut epoxied in ahead of the recoil lug. The nut was to install a handle at one point.
Some questions have been asked about removing the paint. There was some wood that added to fill in the butthook, that does not match the laminate. There was wood filler used in the process of filling in the butthook and cleaning up the barrel channel. So the paint could be removed to expose the laminate, but the stock would not look very good without it. Unfortunately the stock was hacked up by the previous owner.
There are several nicks in the paint and could use to be touched up.
Stock weighs approximately 3lbs 6oz.
