Manuf. 1954 ("KA barrel code), 26" barrel, metal is excellent, only wear is where bolt rubs receiver, barrel has very low milage, no blue wear, boltface is very clean, lugs look great, no rear sight. Includes Redfield base/rings and has been drilled and tapped for a side mount. Stock shows wear but no deep gouges or scratches. $450, delivered to FFL. If no interest in rifle I will part it out and keep the action, sell stock/barrel/trigger. Email with questions. Thanks for looking.

The 722 was not made in .223 caliber. But a lot of them were rechambered from .222 to .223 because of availability of ammo, brass, etc.
