I bought the Howa rifle to use the action for a custom wildcat and never fired the stock rifle. The stainless 270 barrel was immediately pulled and replaced with a Bartlein 5r in 6.5mm Sherman.
This barrel has sat in the box ever since.
These are excellent cold hammered forged barrels.
