You guys probably remember when all of the counterfeit Leupolds were every where. Of course China was making some of the parts that went into some or the Leupolds. The story is that some of the people who worked for scope manufacturers in China got together and went to the Chinese government and asked " can we start making Leupold scopes?"
The Chinese government said "sure go for it". That is the mindset of the Chinese government. Do we really think that they are out friends? They are parasitic.

It goes beyond the communist government, the Chinese culture does not honor the concept of intellectual property. It is not considered wrong to do what we consider taking someone else's idea and use it as your own. They have laws dating back to AD 835 saying that you don't own what you create.

I bought a Harris bipod that wasn't the real thing it sure looked like it was but then it didn't have any markings on the bipod it's self just the packaging . buyer be ware !

The price difference is a dead give away right off the bat for any of the fake brands sold on Ebay. If you think you can find an actual S&B PMII scope even used for less than $2k,you're dreaming.
