250 gr .338 caliber SMK... Listed in Sinclairs 2002-B catalog pg 64 $18.80/box 50 stock # 2650. Looks like the funny farm will have to do without me

Just got off the phone with Robert Treece of Sierra and he informed me the B.C. of this bullet is as follows:.587 at 2150 fps and above and .606 between 1700-2150 fps.
Does this sound right? I thought that the B.C. went higher as the velocity got higher

Texas, that is getting higher with velocity? At over 3000 fps it is likely over .620 as well. It's odd he never said what it was over 2500fps as all bullets usually are shot in that range or above.
