Does anyone know of a modification to this unit that would take 1.25 inch dies?

Yeah, put in the copy machine and press the "Enlarge 43%" button.
Seriously, after looking at mine there's no way. Especially with a 4" shellholder throw, I don't know what cartridge you could load with it that requires the 1.25" dies.

There might be other issues. I really wanted one because of some of their unique features but one of the rounds I'd be loading was incompatible because
-- clamping jaws are not large enough but could be enlarged slightly, however
-- then the pin that opens the jaws would hit the edge of my case and
-- like you, the only dies available for my cartridge would not fit the Forster

I have a Redding Ultramag that should arrive this coming week

Just need to get a bigger press, like an RCBS Ammo Master 2
I do love my Forrester press thou.
