For all you 30-06 owners, what bullet are you using?

Curious as to what folks are using. So many rifles seem to have a few bullets that are really popular - 300wm and the Berger 215, 6.5 PRC and the 156, etc. But the 30-06 doesn't seem to have that hugely popular favorite bullet. Since there is such a huge selection of bullets, I would expect to see answers all over the map.

I wanted to shoot the Nosler 180 BT but I would get a flier a third of the time, Switched to Berger 185 VLD and it went away. With N560 I'm getting 2877 with this bullet and it should easily dispatch anything smaller than an elk, and could work for elk as well although it won't be my primary elk gun.

What are other people shooting?

180 gr bullet of good construction with h4350 57-58 gr. Shooting around 2750+\~

or rl 26 with 180 gr 61 -62 gr around the same speed.
death and very accurate.
180 interlock is mine for white tail and elk

Nosler 190ABLR
Hornady 178ELDX
Barnes 168 TSX
Barnes 165 TTSX

Bout to try the Speer BTSP (150) for grand level white tail loads.

Powders:
H4350
Re16
Re23

Lake City '63 brass

To date the only bullet/powder combo that works in my Tikke superlite is the 168 Amax and imr4831. Bought it for an elk gun but so far no luck getting it to shoot and elk bullet

I use Nosler partition 150 grain bullets I tried 165 grain bullets and my accuracy suffered ,I believe this is due to a slow twist rate in my stock Winchester barrel I drop back to 150s and it is a Laser once again

My R700 w/ 24" shilen loves every Berger I feed it. I'm partial to the 185 Juggernaut and 185 Hybrid. They shoot 2815 and 2805 respectively at best accuracy node and consistently shoot .5moa and often better to 1135yds depending on conditions. I use h4350, CCI Br2, carefully sorted hornady brass. I've killed many deer with these bullets and they work perfectly. I get a lot of expansion and have never lacked an exit hole.

Most recently I've been playing with the 155.5 fullbore and 155 hybrids and both group exceptionally well at 3060fps over h4350.

For deer, I've killed them with any 150-165 gr factory hunting load made. For handloads I am partial to 168 NBT with H4350 or RL17. Also the 165 interlocks shoot and kill well. 165 NBT don't shoot worth a darn.

In 2019 I shot a cow elk at 400 yds with one shot using a 165 SST, in the heart. DRT and the bullet was a perfect mushroom found in the opposite front leg against the bone with a complete chest pass through.

My elk load now is 180 Partitions with RL26 at 2950 fps.
