First time hunting Wyoming! Unit 46 type 1

I hunted 46 for antelope years ago...it was my first western hunt too. Get signed up for one of the two HMAs out there and you'll have no trouble at all filling your tag. Don't shoot the first antelope you see, there will be dozens more.

Just for future reference, can you have a copy of your hunters education card or do you need the original? I have only hunted once in Wyoming and this wasn't applicable where I hunted. I have 7 points for antelope so should be headed that way in a year or so.

Getting a trespass permit for one of the two HMA's is a must and I think the Simpson Ridge is much better than Medicine Bow for antelope. You will have a ton of fun and finding animals in the Simpson Ridge HMA in the first season will not be problem.

When it gets wet here just set tight for awhile it's gumbo and slick as ice as well as builds up on your tires, shoes , in the finder wells , you can't walk or drive in it .
